Groundwater Conditions

The Kern Water Bank measures groundwater levels in nested wells that monitor conditions at different depths in the aquifer. The shallower measurements show the depth that groundwater is first encountered. The deeper measurements show pressure conditions in the aquifer, also known as piezometric levels.
